Deanna Mills is our adult-gerontology nurse practitioner at Seattle Regenerative Medicine Center. She began her career in medicine in 1994 as a registered nurse. Working many years as an ER nurse, she chose to advance her education to achieve certification as a Nurse Practitioner, allowing her to offer her patients a much wider scope of personalized care.

Holistic wellness – a fresh approach to the medical arts.

Deanna has a deep and abiding interest in holistic wellness, as well as an interest in mental health and its connection to physical health. For over two years, she managed the care of individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, hormonal imbalance, weight gain, and the co-morbid conditions that are often experienced by patients who suffer from these conditions. Deanna worked at a ketamine clinic to provide supervised care for patients affected by bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

These experiences broadened her understanding of wellness and solidified her belief that the mind and the body are intrinsically related. Much of her recent work has related to these complex connections, which led her to certification in Lifestyle Medicine. Additionally, she will soon join the team at an addiction medicine clinic to expand the breadth of care that she’s able to provide for mental health patients.
